Jan. 17th, 2014 05:46 pmTJ and Anna over time, since the whole mess with Gamble went down had become friends. He felt like he had failed to stop who he had perceived as a good cop from throwing it all away. And he nearly lost a friend, Boxer, along the way. He met Anna of all places when he was going through counseling for the whole thing, and she had been going for her accident. They struck up a conversation that slowly blossomed into an easy friendship.
Today had been a long day, sometimes he wondered why some people were just so god damn stupid, granted this also correlated with the anniversary of the whole thing that went down for him. So it was probably no surprise to Anna that with the weekend ahead that TJ invited her over for some drinks. He cleaned up a bit at least even though she has seen him at his worst. He was just waiting for her to show up now. Maybe they'd have some drinks, watch a movie or two, and order a pizza.
He was pretty chill about anything they ended up doing. He was just glad she wanted to hang out with him seeing as she was a pretty beautiful woman and could be going out on a Friday night and not spending it with a shmuck like him.
